Another season at Uplift Acrobatics and Dance is in the books! The theme of this year’s finale dance was “Friends” (complete with the iconic theme song by The Rembrandts) and it was perfect. These girls aren’t just dancers on a team, they are family. Whether at a competition or during a class, they cheer each other on and pick each other up.
The hours spent at the dance studio don’t simply teach dance technique; they develop amazing young people. Over the last few years, I have watched my daughter truly find her passion - not just in dance but also in assisting. She beams while cheering on her younger teammates and talking about the classes where she is an assistant. Alison, Kaitlyn, and Lyndsay: I am grateful beyond measure for your dedication, support and mentorship. In moments of doubt, your encouragement reminds my daughter that anything is possible!
